Are you looking for a Christian Boarding School in Hawaii, Alaska, Canada, or outside the United States? Check out this list and consider one of these schools for your child, adolescent, or young adult.
What is a Christian Boarding School?
Christian boarding schools are educational programs where students live on campus full-time. Residents typically have the choice to stay for either five days (Monday to Friday) or seven days per week.
Christian boarding schools (CBSs) are usually private institutions, relying on tuition and additional charges for room and board, as they are not state-funded. Non-profit schools may offer reduced fees through donations. Financial aid applications and scholarships are often available to support families.
While not all fees are covered, specific Christian boarding schools will coordinate with your private insurance to offset a portion of the medical or mental health care costs incurred during a student’s enrollment
Most CBSs (but not all) are a type of therapeutic boarding school that helps children with mental health or behavioral issues. Check out our guide on therapeutic boarding schools and how to choose the best one for your youth to know what to look for when examining each of these schools to see if they are the right fit for your child.
These educational institutions are given a Christian label as they either teach or are established upon Biblical principles. Enrollment is generally open to students regardless of their religious beliefs or affiliations
Consider one of these schools if you are looking for a residential program that provides the support and care your child, adolescent, or young adult needs.
