Here is a helpful list of Christian Boarding Schools in North Carolina and South Carolina.
If you are the parent or guardian of a child, teen, or young adult who requires an alternative school program due to behavioral concerns, a Christian boarding school may be a good choice for you and your family.

What is a Christian Boarding School?
Christian Boarding Schools (CBSs) provide an opportunity for children, adolescents, and young adults to live and study full-time at a faith-based school.
Most Christian boarding schools (CBSs) are private schools and are not state-funded. Therefore it is quite common for parents or guardians to pay privately or out of pocket for the student’s tuition, plus room and board.
There are, however, several schools listed below that are non-profit, and fees are greatly reduced because of donations and fundraising.
CBSs may have the ability to work with you so that your private insurance covers some of the cost of medical or mental health care.
A large number of CBSs are a type of therapeutic boarding school that helps children with mental health or behavioral issues. Check out our guide on therapeutic boarding schools and how to choose the best one for your youth to make sure you know what to look for when examining each of these schools to see if they are the right fit for your family.
The schools in this list are Christian because they teach or were founded on Biblical principles. Students do not need to be Christian to attend the school.
