Allendale Association in Lake Villa
Allendale provides residential care for males 6-21, and females ages 12-21. Their around the clock Therapeutic Residential Program offers help for youth with severe behavioral and emotional problems. These youth receive clinically-focused attention and are supervised and monitored by credentialed staff. Through their therapeutic interventions, children learn to form healthy relationships by finding security in consistent routines, and by being empowered to set their own goals.
Allendale has a k-12 Therapeutic Day School where they can build their academic skills and gain self-confidence.
Allendale also has an Autism Residential Program for youth ages 5-10.
Allendale Youth Group Homes provide individualized therapy, 24-hour supervision for troubled kids in a home-like setting.

Chaddock in Quincy
Chaddock’s residential program is located on a 30 acre campus in the heart of the Midwest where they offer their residents a holistic and nurturing environment. Interventions are designed to help children restore the ability to form trusting relationships. Chaddock serves ages 6-16.
On the Chaddock campus are five cottages. Each provides an environment where the children can work with therapists, counselors and staff to work through trauma that has resulted in severe behavioral challenges. Their goal is to offer kids and parents the tools they need to build cohesive and loving relationships. Children stay in the residential program 12 to 18 months.
Chaddock’s on-campus accredited school provides specialized education for residential students to fulfill their academic needs.

Kemmerer Village in Assumption
Kemmerer Village started as an orphanage in the late 1800’s. Now it is a licensed residential treatment facility for all children from 12-18 years of age. Children live in cottages which provide for a home setting. Experienced therapists and counselors are there to provide for the emotional needs of these children.
Kemmerer offers Equestrian Therapy, Therapeutic and Occupational Recreation, Residential Treatment, an on-campus school, and Foster Care Services.
The school has class sizes of 4-8 students per teacher, and offers both regular and specialized education.

O-School in Chicago
The O-School offers a highly specialized level of care for children and adolescents ages 5 to 21 with severe mental and emotional health challenges, or life disrupting issues related to being on the autism spectrum. Most of the children come from the greater Chicago area.
The O in O-School stands for “orthogenic”, which refers to the use of therapeutic treatments to promote healing and development.
The O-School’s educational program has a low student to teacher ratio with an individualized curriculum for each student.
