Hope Harbor in Marshall, Winona, and Parker
The Hope Harbor program is a Christ-centered, voluntary placement option where kids ages 12-17 and their families receive the support they need to heal from hurts and unhealthy choices. Their program is small and designed to incorporate the whole family with a focus on Jesus Christ in a ministry setting.
The Marshall and Winona programs are for girls ages 12-17 and have the capacity for six girls. The Parker program is for boys ages 12-17 and has the capacity for twelve boys.
Hope Harbor provides educational opportunities for their residents at a non-accredited private school that is on-site. They work with the school district each student comes from to ensure students are on track and that credits are transferrable.
What is the average length of stay at Hope Harbor? Typically one year, and they do not provide treatment for addictions or pregnancy.

Trinity Teen Solutions in Powell (Closed)

Trinity Teen Solutions is a Catholic, 14-bed residential treatment center for girls ages 12-17. They provide equine, animal, and recreational therapies at a beautiful Western United States setting. These are just some of the therapies that works so well for these teens who come in with emotional and behavioral issues that are affecting their own quality of life, and those of their loved ones.
Ninety-six percent of the girls who Trinity serves complete their stay and overcome the struggles in their lives. They go on to be productive young women leading fulfilling lives.
There are three academic options at Trinity. One is that they enroll in a free online academic program. The second option is that they continue their education with the school they have been attending if the school is willing to work with Trinity and provide schooling online. The third option is that these girls attend the accredited academic program offered by Trinity, which is all computer and web-based.
How to pay for Trinity? They do not accept Medicaid, but do work with most other major insurance companies.
