Academy of the Sacred Heart in Grand Coteau
Schools of the Sacred Heart is a complex of two Catholic single-sex, private schools for grades Pre-Kindergarten through grade 12 in Grand Coteau, Louisiana.
The Academy of the Sacred Heart is a Catholic girls only school, with residential accommodations for students in grades 9 through 12. Their sister school, Berchman’s Academy is a boys-only school and is listed and described below.

Evangelhouse Christian Academy is a therapeutic boarding school that accepts troubled girls in 6th – 12th grades. The school offers help to students who struggle with social problems, emotional distress, trauma, depression, family conflict, anxiety, misuse of social media, or self-destructive habits.
Evangelhouse is a girls-only school and does not accept students that have issues that might be dangerous or disruptive to other students or staff.

Grace Christian Home and Academy for Girls is a long term (10 months) residential program and boarding school for troubled teenage girls ages 13-17 years old.
Grace Christian Home students are girls who may be hostile, cause family conflicts, are rebellious toward authority, are sexually active, out of control, have intense anger, low self-esteem, school problems, slips out or runs-a-way periodically, lie, are deceitful, manipulative, and occasionally or moderately use drugs or alcohol.
The program includes academics, counseling, recreation, behavioral training, spiritual growth, work assignments, and social interaction. The program is designed to help girls grow in important areas and deal with practical issues in their lives.

Greater New Orleans Teen Challenge in New Orleans
Greater New Orleans Teen Challenge offers help to a multitude of people with challenges, not only addictions. Primarily, they have an 18-month program that consists of 12 months of residential and 6 months of optional aftercare for men and women ages 18 and over. They also accept women with up to three children under the age of nine years old.
The services they offer are character development, Biblical foundation, faith-based addiction treatment, on-site vocational training, and GED acquirements. They accommodate legal situations, counseling & mentorship, group and personal studies curriculum, extra-curricular activities, higher education through Bridges Christian College, and a transition program for men.
There are fees to attend, including a $750.00 induction fee and a $250.00 induction fee per child enrolling, not to exceed $500.00. There are no monthly fees.

Teen Challenge of Acadiana in Lafayette
Teen Challenge is a Christian boarding school program for troubled teens aged 12 – 17 in Lafayette, Louisiana. The school’s programs are a cost-effective option for families whose young men or young women struggle in life and need specialized help to get back on track before becoming an adult.
Troubled teens are mentored and cared for around the clock at Teen Challenge, and the program runs year-round.
