Devereux Arizona in Scottsdale and Tucson

Devereux Arizona has a Residential Treatment Center (RTC) and Therapeutic School located on a 10-acre campus in Scottsdale. They can serve up to 52 youth ages 5 to 17 who are struggling with emotional, behavioral, and substance abuse issues.

Devereux Arizona also has a K-12 school which offers an academic curriculum. Students are able to attend school while also receiving intensive emotional and behavioral support.

Devereux Arizona also has an Assessment and Intervention Center (AIC) in Tucson which serves youth ages 9-17. They do comprehensive evaluations and provide intensive behavioral support in a structured environment for up to forty five days.

Devereux Arizona, also in Tucson, has a Brief Intervention Program (BIP) which is designed for youth with severe deficits in social, behavioral, psychiatric, and psychological functioning. This environment offers a high degree of supervision by a highly skilled staff.

Life Development Institute (LDI) in Glendale

Life Development Institute offers an accredited high school designed for adolescents ages 14 and older, and adults who struggle with Attention Deficit Disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Learning Disabilities, Obsessive Compulsive Disorders, Mood Disorders, and others.

Life Development Institute leads and teaches students to become independent and self-sufficient while earning their high school diploma, as well as being guided in the processes of starting college and pursuing fulfilling careers.

Re-Creation Retreat in Fredonia

Re-Creation Retreat is an independent  Residential Treatment Program and Therapeutic Boarding School for girls between the ages of 13 and 17 experiencing behavioral and emotional problems such as low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, lack of respect for authority, and others.

At Re-Creation Retreat, they adapt their program to meet each student’s individual needs. Often these students need help in improving their grades and catching up on credits needed to graduate. As these girls obtain academic success, they begin to show improvement in their self-esteem, self-image, and self-worth.

Instead of focusing on what their students have done wrong, Re-Creation Retreat’s expert staff supports these girls by focusing on their strengths.

Red Hawk Academy for Girls in Littlefield

Red Hawk Academy is a residential treatment center for at-risk girls ages 12-17, who are struggling with issues such as ADHD, Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), Adoption-Related Issues, PTSD, Physical or Sexual Abuse, and others.

Red Hawk Academy serves only 24 girls at one time which allows each student to receive more individualized attention by their therapists and expert staff. Their therapeutic program consists of three phases which include the assessment and evaluation phase, the rehabilitation phase, and the continuing care phase. Their professional staff works with these girls to obtain coping skills, build self-worth and self-confidence, and to make better choices that will help them to ultimately live more fulfilling lives.

Red Hawk Academy’s accredited educational program has small class sizes and is designed to help in credit recovery so they are able to obtain their high school diploma. Assistance may also include the preparation for college, trade school, or exploring other career options.

Spring Ridge Academy in Mayer

Spring Ridge Academy is a Therapeutic Boarding School for girls ages 13–17. Often these girls are struggling with emotional and behavioral issues that are jeopardizing their relationships and academic success.

Spring Ridge Academy treats girls with issues such as eating disorders, attachment and adoption issues, anxiety, depression, oppositional issues, grief and loss, and many more. They understand that these girls need a higher level of therapeutic intervention than what is offered in outpatient therapy. Their program is designed to provide more comprehensive interventions.

Spring Ridge Academy’s accredited academic program offers a 9-12 grade classroom that is in a small, structured environment created to promote accountability, integrity, and creativity.

    are there any schools in glendale that deal with kids 9 and older with adhd and odd behavior?? in need of one bad.
