Building Bridges in Thompson Falls
Building bridges is a rehabilitation program for teenage boys ages 14 to 18. Designed to help teens struggling with chemical dependency (drug and alcohol treatment for teen boys), disruptive behaviors – both in the home and in the school – as well as behavioral and social issues, such as depression and anxiety, boys will take part in a number of outdoor activities including backpacking, hiking, mountain-biking, rafting, and many more.
Young men will spend anywhere from 12 to 15 months in the program.
Therapy at Building Bridges follows a 12 step program and these youth will have multiple forms of therapy throughout the stay. One of the most common will be Milieu therapy, in which boys will have learning moments during their daily activities. This is facilitated by the fact that the therapists will take part in the same activities the boys do.
There is also more formal group therapy and individual therapy for the boys throughout the week, along with family therapy as a part of the process.

Intermountain Residential in Flathead Valley and Helena
Intermountain Residential offers two boarding schools for troubled youth ages 4 to 13 struggling in their daily lives. The first is the Helena Campus, located right in the capital city, where boys and girls spend 15 to 20 months in one of four cottages. Along with continuing their academic studies, children will also have the opportunity to enjoy other recreational activities.
The other boarding school offered by Intermountain Residential is the Providence home located in Flathead Valley. Eight youth will spend 12 to 20 months living together in a nurturing, family-like atmosphere. Providence Home provides professional, integrated, intermediate residential care adapted for the individual needs of each child.

Montana Academy in Marion
The Montana Academy is a co-ed therapeutic boarding school located in Northwest Montana for high-school aged students. This boarding school is committed to promoting developmental maturation in adolescents through healthy relationships and academic excellence.
Each student has a primary therapist who sees students individually and facilitates family therapy. The school offers college preparatory level academics, where youth reach a level of scholastic maturity. The Montana Academy helps struggling students move on to academic and interpersonal successes, which follow from a restoration of normal adolescent maturity.

Turning Winds is a residential treatment center (RTC) where teens ages 13 to 18 battling with substance abuse, mental illness or other behavioral problems come and stay for a period of time in order to receive help from the top minds and practices in the country.
Turning Winds uses an Integrated Therapeutic Curriculum (ITC) which is distinguished for integrating a therapeutic direction throughout the program including academics, nightly group sessions, sports, the outdoors, and all other activities these teens experience.
